Benny the Pitbull jumped for joy when he was saved from being put down at the shelter. He was staying at the Carson Animal Care Center in Garden, California.
The shelter took Benny in when he was only 8 months old. He was a joyful dog with lots of energy. Unfortunately, the shelter was getting full, and they were going to euthanize him.
Thankfully, a loving family visited the shelter to adopt Benny before all that could happen. When they arrived at Benny’s kennel, he wasn’t too sure what was going on.
There was a lot happening, and the shelter was filled with the sounds of howling and barking. Benny was cautious as he saw many new people he didn’t recognize.
He retreated to the back of his kennel, but his tail was excitedly wagging back and forth. Benny was scared but also curious about the humans who had come to greet him.
Then he started to slowly shuffle forward and started at his new family with puppy dog eyes. A leash was put on him, and his demeanor changed as soon as he left the kennel.
Benny was jumping with joy when he realized he was being adopted. He could barely contain himself. His new family laughed at his bouncing body and gave him all the pets he deserved.
