Jennifer’s senior dog guided her to rescue a stray pup named Winter. She spent a long time searching for Winter, and she actually saved some puppies.
The puppies had no mother, and Jennifer knew she was out there someone. She went out with her senior dog, who helped sniff out the missing mother.
One day Jennifer found Winter, who turned out to be the puppies’ mother. Winter was scared and cautious, and it wasn’t until twenty days later that they could capture her.
Jennifer got help from another local rescuer to set up a trap. Finally, Winter was rescued from life on the streets. Winter’s puppies were adopted, but she was able to see them through FaceTime.
At first, Winter was quite iffy about people until she started spending more time with Jennifer and her family. She got used to humans, and all she needed was love.
Jennifer then introduced her to Coco, her dog, and Maggie, the cat. Coco and Maggie fought for Winter’s time and attention, and Winter loved everybody. Jennifer wanted to adopt Winter, but she had no backyard for Winter to run around.
Eventually, Winter found a perfect home with lots of space and lots of dogs. It was hard for Jennifer to say goodbye, and it isn’t the same without Winter. But she is thrilled that Winter was able to find the best family for her.
