Australian shepherds have a natural instinct towards herding, but the technique of herding is something they need to be taught according to their master’s preference, and one of their first lessons an introduction to the livestock that will be watching over.
In this video, sweet little Aussie shepherds are introduced to a pack of ducklings, and their natural curiosity gets the best of them. At first they try to fit in with them, but once Mom arrives to show them how it’s done they quickly catch on. Do any TBMM followers have a herding dog as a pet?
