Archie the Samoyed has always been obsessed with cats. TJ and Mia have thought about getting him a cat for the longest time. Whenever Archie sees a cat, he would stop and stare.
He wouldn’t want to move, and they would need to pick him up and bring him further away from wherever the cat was. At the daycare, Archie could spend hours watching the cats.
Archie would lock eyes with a cat, and he would be wagging his tail nonstop. Finally, Mia got a cat named B from her close friend. Archie was kept in a separate room at first because he was so hyper.
TJ and Mia didn’t want Archie to scare B with his excitement. When they finally met, B kept her distance from Archie, and all he wanted was to be close to her.
Archie understood that she needed time to warm up to him. He would put his head on something and look at her. That was his way of asking permission, and he would also wag his tail.
B eventually gave in when she realized that Archie wouldn’t stop giving her attention. She gave him permission to come close, and they finally snuggled together for the first time.
After that, B started to go up to Archie, and they were closer than ever. TJ and Mia enjoyed watching the two of them bond and grow closer as a family. They were happy to give Archie the cat of his dreams.
