Nanoos, the cat, hates everyone, even Reem, who takes care of her. Though there is one person, Nanoos actually loves to be around, and Reem has no idea why.
Reem walks on eggshells around Nanoos because she doesn’t want to do anything to upset her. If she is hissed at or attacked, Reem will apologize to Nanoos right away.
Nanoos will hiss at people, children, and other animals. Reem can’t be in the same room as her, and even from across a vast space, she can be attacked at any time.
The people that Nanoos hates the most are children. She treats them like her arch-nemesis. Reem believes that Nanoos doesn’t like children because of their innocence and joy.
Nanoos has a habit of finding joy and laughter and doing her best to kill it. For some odd reason, the one person that Nanoos can stand being around is Reem’s dad.
With Reem’s dad, Nanoos is sweet and gentle. He can pick her up, and she will act like a completely different cat. People ask Reem why she won’t give her cat away.
Reem says that Nanoos is part of her family. She loves her, and she doesn’t need Nanoos to love her back. Her goal is to give Nanoos a happy life no matter what.
