Nova, a Pittie, had the best reaction when Kayla brought her newborn, Liliana, home from the hospital. Kayla always knew Nova would be a good big brother.
When she first got Nova, he was a puppy, and he was already loving, silly, playful, curious, protective, and loyal. He was also gentle and cuddly with Kayla’s smaller dog, Teddy.
Teddy is usually shy and likes to be left alone, but Nova always tries to play with him anyway. Their relationship showed Kayla that they both had a lot of love to give to her daughter.
During Kayla’s pregnancy, Nova would lie right next to her belly. He always needed to be in bed with them. Kayla said that Nova could sense her daughter and his new sibling.
As soon as Liliana was born and Kayla arrived home with her, Nova was curious and excited to meet her. Kayla was not disappointed by Nova, who opened his eyes wide and immediately started to sniff her.
Nova knew right away that he had to be gentle and cautious with little Liliana. Whenever she cries, Nova goes to her to check what is wrong. He is incredibly protective of her.
Liliana has tried to give him pets which at the moment are tiny head scratches that Nova still loves. Kayla is grateful that her daughter is surrounded by love.
