After finding her somewhere in Mexico, Carly and Jackie rescued a beautiful pregnant Pittie named Poppy. They put food on the ground to gain her trust since she was skittish at first.
Poppy came closer and immediately had a strong bond with Carly. She leaned into Carly, and they took her into the car and then to the vet.
The vet gave her a flea bath and treatment and kept her for two days. Once her stay was over, Carly and Jackie took her home. Poppy walked into their house and climbed onto the couch.
Jackie and Carly saw that Poppy was a very calm and relaxed dog who didn’t want to do much but sleep. When she went into labor, it was around 11 pm, and she was finished around 4 am.
They had no experience delivering puppies before, but Poppy did most of the work. Nine puppies were born, and they were all as adorable, if not more so, as their mom.
Poppy is a great mom. She hugs and holds her babies while they feed and sleep. Carly and Jackie are grateful to have puppies in their home because it makes their days a lot happier.
As much as they love the puppies, they also look forward to finding new homes for them. They officially adopted Poppy, and she will be able to live a happy life full of hugs and love.
