Monte is a 28-year-old senior rescue donkey who learned that his singing could get him whatever he likes. He arrived at Pinky’s place after she adopted him from TMR Rescue.
When it is time to eat, Monte will bray as no other donkey has ever brayed before. It doesn’t matter if it’s for breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Pinky will watch as Monte comes tearing around the corner as if he has never eaten anything all day. He is unstoppable and will stand there and yell at her until she feeds him.
Monte was silent when Pinky first got him. Only three days later, Monte sang for the first time during dinner. The rescue didn’t even know that he was such a talented singer.
Since Monte’s first tune, he has been showing his vocal chops daily. It is normal for him, but Pinky knows firsthand that donkeys do not bray like Monte.
Monte is always singing and loves to wear fabulous costumes. Pinky thinks he is just like Lady Gaga because he is utterly confident in his singing.
At 28 years old, Monte does not act like his age. He is mischievous and young at heart. Pinky is lucky to have him and hopes he makes it to 60 years.
