You’ve likely seen a video or two that shows a dog doing something amazing. These animals don’t get the nickname “man’s best friend” for no reason. Recently, a border collie comes to the rescue of a helpless chihuahua puppy and saves his life.
In something that feels like it’s out of a movie, this video from a nearby surveillance camera shows a woman playing outside with her three dogs. When they’re all done playing fetch, she gets into her car to leave her home.
Many people live in a place where you can leave your dogs outside when you go into town. As the car starts backing up, the chihuahua is in harm’s way. After the driver saw what happened, she was heartbroken to know that she nearly ran over the chihuahua when she left.
The video shows us the border collie dashing across the yard to bring the small pup out of the path of the car. The dog’s owner saw this all happen in her review mirror and is relieved when she gets out of the vehicle to see nobody got hurt.
