Whether you’ve seen the movies or read the books, there’s no denying that the Harry Potter franchise is one of the most popular series that’s ever existed. When a fan teaches her dog to respond to spells from the series, the internet goes wild.
Though characters in the movie are allowed to have a pet during their stay at Hogwarts, dogs are not one of the options. Brizzy Voices, a popular Youtube channel, trained her long-haired mini dachshund Remus how to respond to spells.
Anna Brisbin, the creator of Brizzy Voices, dresses her pup in an adorable Gryffindor costume. She is filming herself as she waves a wand around saying spells like “Wingardium Leviosa,” that cause the dog to balance on his hind legs.
“Avada Kedavra” is a killing curse from the movie, and Remus automatically plays dead when he hears is. When Brisbin commands “Accio ball,” her well-trained dog will fetch a ball. It’s truly incredible what we can teach our pets to do.
As she tweeted the video of her dog performing all of the bewitching tricks, she captioned it, “Oh, you trained your dog in German? Cool cool cool, I trained my dog in Harry Potter spells.” She’s not wrong; this is one unique way to train your furry friend.
