Cathode, the cat, refuses to leave Remy’s side ever since he adopted her from the shelter. Remy soon found out she was afraid of the vacuum cleaner but loved extreme sports.
He wanted a cat, and several years ago, when he went to the shelter, Cathode went up to him and never let go. She had been abandoned and considered Remy to be her mother.
Remy took her outside with him and kept Cathode close at all times. He made her feel safe, and they bonded right away. Cathode was always next to him while he worked.
He felt bad for keeping her home all the time, so he wanted to try taking Cathode on a bike ride. They went out at night so the cars wouldn’t scare her.
Cathode absolutely loved riding with Remy. They continued to do other activities such as skiing and hand-gliding. She was curious and loved speed, and a small leash ensured she didn’t advance too far.
Remy knew Cathode was fearless, and their activities were never longer than an hour. When they ride a motorcycle, Cathode likes to stick her head out, so he wants to protect her eyes.
He was an engineer with a Ph.D. in science, and he made a helmet with glasses for Cathode. The greatest reward for Remy is seeing Cathode enjoying life every day.
