Franklin the Bulldog loves nothing more than going inside a hole. He believes that he owns all the ditches in the world. Caitlin calls him her helper, even if he is not always helpful.
He has been with Caitlin for over a year and a half, and he completely changed her world. She loves his big personality and the fact that Franklin likes to be involved with everything they do.
Franklin’s obsession with holes began when they were digging a ditch for drainage. He noticed that everyone was focused on the trench and hopped inside. It was the perfect size for him.
Caitlin said it was not good for progress, but it was hysterical. Ever since then, Franklin has been so comfortable snuggling into holes. It doesn’t matter to him how big or small the excavation is.
When Franklin finds a hole, he will put whatever part of him fits into it. He never digs his own pits and always waits for someone else to do it for him.
Even before Caitlin finishes shoveling out the dirt, Franklin will already hop in. He understands that if there are new plants, they will need holes dug for them.
Franklin doesn’t comprehend the concept of planting, but he enjoys gardening anyway. Caitlin loves him to the moon and back and is incredibly grateful to have him in her life.
