Lexi, a rescue dog, loves to do parkour jump on the fence while chasing squirrels or just to peek over it. Matt will see her running to the back door and jumping up and down until she is let out.
Once Lexi dashes out, she carves out her own path around the push and tree, then hops on one fence and goes over to the next wall.
She feels that it is her duty to keep squirrels out of the yard. Lexi will chase them until they are at the top of a tree. Matt doesn’t believe she is actually trying to catch them.
Lexi is a good dog who knows that she should only look. Matt has another dog named Max, who is Lexi’s older brother. Max serves as Lexi’s eyes and ears.
When Max starts barking, Lexi will leap onto the fence to follow his lead. Since he can’t jump like her, he waits for her to come back down.
It isn’t only squirrels that will get Lexi to hop on the fence. She likes to greet her neighbors, who say hello if they see her. People passing by on the street are delighted when they see a dog’s head above the tall fence.
Max and Lexi have inspired Matt to help other dogs like them. He is doing his best to start a no-kill rescue, and he hopes that Lexi’s videos will help with the exposure.
