A baby donkey named Willow was born on a farm, and Colton, the dog, was immediately fascinated by the newborn. Colton stood outside Willow and her mother, Olive’s, pen every day.
Susan Klingenberg owns the farm where the animals live freely and happily. Colton wanted to get close to Olive, and she was wagging her tail and whining.
At first, Olive wouldn’t let her get close to Willow, but she allowed Willow to be more curious after a few days, and she trusted Colton more with her baby.
According to Susan, Colton is the welcomer of all the new animals. Colton is always there to greet them, and she always has a gentle and calming presence.
They live on beautiful farmlands with all types of farm animals. As Willow grew, she became more and more curious. Colton seems to know when certain animals require special love.
Susan found it funny how Olive got further away from Willow as the days passed. It showed how much Olive allowed Willow to be more independent and free.
Colton and Willow became inseparable, and they loved each other so much. Susan wants people to know farm animals have the same personalities as dogs and cats. She has definitely been less productive because she always wants to be around Colton and Willow.
