Tyler hadn’t seen Bruiser, his Pittie, for two months, and he was surprised to see him when he came home from school one day. It was a tearful reunion because Tyler considered Bruiser to be his little brother.
The last time Tyler’s family saw Bruiser was on their driveway. After he went missing, they put up flyers all around town. Every day Tyler would ask his parents if they found Bruiser.
He missed him so much and cried for days. Bruiser used to wait by the refrigerator to be given ice cubes. Tyler also missed seeing his cute face in the morning greeting him whenever he woke up.
When Tyler went to the bathroom, Bruiser would stand guard outside to make sure no one came in. They were inseparable, and Tyler felt like he had lost his little brother.
Then Highland’s County Animal Control gave Jamie a call and said they found a dog that matched Bruiser’s description. They said if he wasn’t their dog, then they found an exact replica of him.
Tyler’s parents decided to surprise him by bringing Bruiser home without telling him. When Tyler opened the door, Bruiser ran straight to him. They hugged each other, and Bruiser licked Tyler’s face.
Everyone was so happy, and Tyler was crying tears of joy. Their lives could finally go back to normal, and his brother was back where he belonged.
