Kotaro and Hana are two Asian Small-Clawed Otters who live in Japan with their kind owner. Kotaro is a male Otter, while Hannah is a female, and they are treated not as pets but as children of the family.
Recently the owner shared the excitement of Kotaro and Hana on previous year’s Christmas morning. The two otters ran down the stairs like little children, excited to find what presents Santa Claus had left for them. The room was decorated with a small Christmas tree and many presents.
Hana wore a red Christmas cap. Both the pets were sniffing around the room, trying to judge which present to open first. Kotaro was fascinated by the mechanical toy Santa which continuously wished everyone “Merry Christmas.”
All the gifts the Otters had received were sent by their fans from all over the world. Even Hana loved the mechanical toy Santa but decided to look through the other boxes. Soon Kotaro returned to play with the toy Santa and started to nibble on the Santa’s cap.
This was when the owner stepped in to help his pets find the Christmas gifts of their interest. He opened all the gift boxes and let the two play with the unique toys. Kotaro and Hana specifically liked a box with a colorful toy inside it.
However, Hana soon shifted her interest to a soft toy that she found more attractive than others. The Otters even received a Mancala Board game as a Christmas present. The owner found the gift quite interesting for the Otters as they could now play with the beautiful stones.
This was not the end of the list of the toys these beautiful otters received. There was a rolling ball tower that had several colorful balls. They also received an air hockey toy. However, Hannah was more interested in the ribbons with which the gifts were tied. Kotaro soon started to play with the slippers of his owner. Kotaro and Hana later ate their food and rested after a fun-filled and exciting day.
