He couldn’t walk because of his injured limbs, but he could stand. Michelle was part of a sanctuary, and she introduced Chance to many dogs. She learned that Chance had a great attitude and was always smiling.

Chance was growing fast, and Michelle was worried that if he couldn’t walk when he was 10 pounds, how would he be when he was 400 pounds.

Michelle put Chance through several rehabilitation treatments. He walked in a pool and fed in different positions to work various muscles. Within a few months, he quickly turned around.

Chance could finally walk and even climb the stairs. He was happy to eat and loved getting attention. The dogs loved to run around and play with him, especially one massive German Shepherd that Michelle was fostering.
