Laura had recently adopted a baby cow named Henry. The little one thought she was his mama, so he would lay down next to her and put his head on her lap. Thus, every minute Laura was outside, she would be by her big baby.
Henry’s life was not as good as it was now. A woman had brought the baby cow to Laura. She told Laura that her daughter had gone to an auction and bid on this calf. But now they realized how much money it took to raise a cow and asked if Laura wanted the young one.
When asked whether she wanted to keep Henry, Laura immediately said yes. Since he was petite, the new mom placed Henry in the car and brought him home. The poor boy was pulled from his mother soon after his birth.
So, Laura decided to be the perfect substitute mom. The kind lady preferred Henry to stay with his real mother, but she knew somewhere it would be better for Henry to stay with her instead since she could try her best to be his mom.
Laura started to spend a lot of time with Henry. After a few days, the baby cow started to do his zoomies. This made the new mom delighted. She was glad that he was doing well. Laura even observed that the calf liked to rub his head on things. So, she got him this mega ball she found on the internet.
Henry loved to play with the ball. Laura thought Henry needed a friend and decided to introduce him to her donkeys, Mikey and Eddie. She knew they would be good to the baby cow and love him.
At first, she introduced the donkeys to the cow through the fence. This continued for approximately a month before she allowed Henry to enter their pen. The animals have now totally accepted Henry. Laura was excited to know he would have a long and happy life.
