Zeus, the Great Dane, was announced as the oldest living dog by Guinness World Records. The 2-year-old dog is 3 feet and 5 inches tall, and Brittany Davis couldn’t be happier.
Ever since Brittany was a little girl, she dreamed of having a Great Dane. Fortunately, her brother Garrett had a colleague who bred them. It was time for Brittany to get everything she wanted.
Zeus was already big as an 8-week-old puppy. He was adorable, and his paws were massive. Brittany likes to talk about how much Zeus changed her life for the better.
He is very stubborn, laidback, and loves everybody. Zeus tends to get excited for ten minutes, and then he will become tired and start to rest.
Brittany uses the kitchen sink as his water bowl because he is so big and tall. The only time Zeus is naughty is when he takes food off the counter or steals the baby’s pacifiers.
He also likes to walk around the neighborhood, and people will ask if he is a horse and if he has a saddle and if they can ride him. Brittany says no to all the questions. Zeus would not enjoy being a horse.
Brittany’s teenage son loves Zeus, and they are always together. She never thought she would own the largest living dog, and she has proof that he is, in fact, the tallest canine in the world.
