Liv’s boyfriend found a duck while fishing, and the duck never left him alone. Another fisherman said he had seen someone drop off the duck nearby.
For three hours, the duck followed him around, and Liv realized that he was probably domesticated. She did some research and learned that wild ducks would never accept him.
Liv decided to bring home the duck and name him Roo. They prepared a duck coop and a kiddie pool for him. Roo only wanted to be with them and near them at all times.
Roo liked to be with their dogs, and the dogs took to him right away. He surprised everyone with how much personality he had. Liv didn’t expect to see a duck with so much character.
They let him do whatever he wanted because he was a well-mannered duck. Liv spends a lot of time outdoors, and when they go on trips together, Roo behaves in the car.
It became clear that the dogs accepted Roo as part of their pack. The two dogs keep a close eye on him at all times, and he never strays far from either of them.
Liv loves that Roo comes to her when she calls his name, and he is the highlight of any party. She considers him to be her lucky charm, and he is a part of their family.
