Archie is a rescued lamb to loves the sound of a guitar. Jen saved him when he was orphaned at birth, and Archie’s body couldn’t process milk properly.
He was quiet and tiny. Jen and her husband, Dave, found a balance between keeping Archie comfortable and figuring out a milk mixture that would work for him.
Archie wanted to be rocked constantly, so Jen would pick him up and hold him for hours. There were a lot of cuddles that helped Archie become more comfortable and relaxed.
Dave is a musician, and when he played guitar for Archie for the time first time, Archie went up to him right away. He was nibbling on the guitar strings and loved the sound of it.
After a few weeks, Archie finally took his first bottle. It felt incredible for Jen that he was finally getting the nutrition that he needed. As soon as he could eat on his own, Archie became extremely active.
He would dance on the coffee table, and Jen could tell Archie was overflowing with joy. It was time to slowly transition him to living outside. Archie became friends with all the other farm animals.
They made sure to keep a few things the same to help with the transition. Dave played guitar for Archie during bedtime, and even other animals came by to listen.
