Doobie the Cockatoo follows his mom Kimberly wherever she goes. If she is taking a bath, he will be on a perch with her to keep her company at all times.
Kimberly said that working from home is excellent, but she did feel alone until she was with Doobie. When she is with Doobie, she never feels lonely or sad.
They share everything together. During lunchtime, Doobie will be eating his lunch right next to her. She enjoys going through the day with her lovable Cockatoo. Doobie is a great conversationalist, and they will have a lot of back-and-forth chats.
The first time Kimberly saw Doobie, she spotted him with his little pants and fell in love with him right away. He stepped up to her and made a connection.
There was no way Kimberly wasn’t going to take him home with her. On the way to her house Doobie opened up to her, and she loved him even more.
At first, she was worried that he wouldn’t accept her because Doobie had been with his previous owner for 28 years. Kimberly took their relationship slow and paid attention to what he needed.
Doobie brings her so much joy and love throughout their days together. Kimberly is amazed by how such a small creature can bring so much to her life.
