Katie and her friend, Elec, were surprised when they saw a kitten peeking out from the grille of a car. Police officers came to help, and they thought scaring the kitten would help get her out.
They only drove her deeper into the vehicle when they tried to frighten the kitten. She really wasn’t coming out. They opened the grill and picked her up with a firm grip because the kitten was fighting to stay inside.
Katie would have loved to keep her, but Elec’s home had just burned down the day before they found the kitten. He was staying in a hotel in the meantime. Katie knew that the cat’s new home should be with Elec.
Tabby was the name given to the kitten. Elec was stressed out, and he said it was as if the universe was telling him that good things could still come into his life.
Elec felt focused and found a new purpose in taking care of Tabby. Two days after living with Tabby, Elec’s roommates find another kitten named Luna.
Tabby and Luna got along right away. They were inseparable and an adorable pair. A third kitten was taken in by Elec when his friend had to go to medical school, and she couldn’t take care of a pet.
Elec got to see the three kittens form an intense bond. Tabby runs the house, and he is glad she came into his life when he really needed her.
