Marley the Pittie was overwhelmed when his owner, Carli, started introducing kittens into their lives. Carli started The Arc Animal Sanctuary in Greece, and she rescued a lot of kittens.
It was a big adjustment for Marley because he never spent any time around cats. At first, he was scared and didn’t understand their meowing and squeaking noises.
Marley minded his own business until his life was suddenly flooded with little felines. He wasn’t prepared, but he eventually adjusted to the new home dynamic.
When the kittens came close to him, he didn’t know they wanted cuddles and his body heat. They kept crawling all over him and trying to climb on top of him.
Over time Marley warmed up to them, and he realized they were fun, squishy, and cuddly. He let them get on his back, and then they constantly surrounded him.
Carli was delighted to see Marley change. It was a great experience watching the kittens grow up with the help of Marley. Together they have raised around 30 kittens.
The ones that grew up and didn’t get adopted stay with them, and they are never far away from Marley. He has become a cat magnet, and they stick to him while he remains so calm and still.
